Day 10·Practice and review·1 min read
Practice scenarios and review
The last session is scenario questions, the kind an assessment asks. Say why each option is right or wrong before you check, then redo whatever you missed.
By the end
Answer scenario questions by matching each option to a specific symptom and the lever it pulls, and explain every answer in one sentence.
Spend the last session on scenario questions like the ones on your assessment. Say why each option is right or wrong before you check the answer.
Practice
- Ask Claude for a 10-question "select all that apply" quiz on Days 1 to 9, in scenario format.
- For every option, name the lever it pulls (instructions, examples, context, process or sampling) and the mechanism.
- Redo any day where you missed two or more.
Can you explain each in one sentence?
- Temperature vs top-p
- Why max tokens truncates instead of tightening
- Zero-shot vs few-shot, and the anchoring risk
- Chain-of-thought and self-consistency
- Least-to-most and Tree of Thoughts
- Prompt chaining and extract-then-summarize
- ReAct's Thought, Action, Observation loop
- RAG vs fine-tuning
- Structured output and validation
- Code checks vs LLM-as-judge
- Direct vs indirect prompt injection
Check yourself
Work the scenario by naming the symptom, then the lever, then the mechanism. If you cannot name the mechanism, reread the day it belongs to before you answer.
